Egyptian cuisine has its own flavour with many rich influences that distinguish it. Especially the influences of Turkish, Shami, and Italian cuisine. Many Egyptian foods have been around for thousands of years, such as beans, falafel, Kawaraa, Fattah, Kabab, Kofta (grilled meat), stuffed Hamam, Basbosa, Umm Ali, Koshari, Molokhia, and cabbage. in addition to baking special cakes on Eid Al-Fitr. coloured eggs and salted fish on Sham Al-Naseem festival (a pharaonic celebration when the weather seasons change).








Diversity of Egyptian cuisine:


Egyptian cuisine varies into several sub-kitchens. Common Egyptian food is spread in it in addition to special dishes such as the Alexandrian cuisine (which depends on seafood), the Saadi kitchen (Upper Egypt), the countryside of Egypt kitchen, the Bedouin cuisine (influenced by Gulf area cuisine), in addition to the popular cuisine.

As for the major cities, they are a mixture of many kitchens above, including Italian, Indian, Gulf, and Shami cuisine. We find little cuisine from French and Far East Asian cuisine.
