A desalination plant ready to serve the city with a capacity of 150 thousand cubic meters. additionally, a road is being developed to connect the city with different routes, it starts from the south of Port Said till the 92nd km on the Ismailia Desert Road, then cuts the Suez and Ain Sokhna Road in the Wadi Hjul area. There are plans to complete the road south to reach the west of Hurghada and west of Safaga and then "Abu Ramad" and Halayib and Shalateen up to the area "Perforkit" on the international border with Sudan. Also, a 13-kilometre-long emergency link will connect the coastal road with the main road.

The Galala Plateau project, the first phase it has nearly finished, is represented by the new Galala project road, which overlooks the Gulf of Suez, and the tourist resort with its facilities, represented in:
